Bell Ranch Fall Gathering September 2009
Many thanks to my new friends at the Bell Ranch. It was an honor and privilege to work and photograph this incredible place and the men and women who work there. I just scratched the surface in the short time I was there but I hope this is only a start and that I can come back when the works begin again. ( Not that the work ever stops!) Enjoy the photos. Spring Gathering 2006
View Series“And in the morning as we rode out through the breaks of that long plain, with leather creaking in the quieting , would sound with trot and trot again. We live in time with horse hoof falling, we listen well and here the calling, the Earth our Mother bids to me and we shall still ride Wild and Free. As we ride out on the morning before the bird before the dawn, we are this poem, we are this song. My heart will beat the world a warning, these horsemen now ride all with me and we are good and we are Free…” Buck Ramsey, “Anthem”
That poem sums up my experience better than any other words. The O6 is an amazing place and I thank the Lacy and Kokernut families for keeping it that way. Thanks also to all the great cowboys that let me ride, work and photograph with them. I’m doin my part to keep your legacy alive. Enjoy the photos!

Pitchfork Spring Gathering 2009
It is always an honor and pleasure to get to the Pitchfork’s in the Spring. Everything is alive with the retreat of Winter and the cowboys excitement of the Spring works. I couldn’t be there but for a few days, but I’ll always take what I can get of this outfit. My thanks to the Williams and Von Gontards for their stewardship of this amazing ranch and to Ron Lane (el Guapo) for letting me throw in and making me feel like family. To Cody and the rest of the cowboys, my hat’s off to you.

Father Daughter Gathering 2009
View SeriesI hope you enjoy going through all these great memories. It was a privilege to be a part of such an important event. I have two sons, so I missed out on having the girl connection, but it was fun to watch you get closer and closer to each other as the weekend progressed. I think the photos show this with the culmination being the dance. WOW!
